Gallery What is Polished Concrete? Benefits Process Gallery Specs
Polished concrete is a fairly new process that sprang from the marble and terrazzo industry. Mechanically polished concrete is obtained by grinding a slab with heavy-duty grinding/polishing machines equipped with finer and finer grit diamonds. Due to advancements in industrial diamond technology what could once only been done by grinding wet (which creates a HUGE mess), can now be done dry while capturing virtually all dust. Concrete can be polished up to a desired luster or grit with little to no downtime in production and with no cure time commonly found with more traditional flooring options.

Due to the high durability, low maintenance costs and aesthetic beauty that can be obtained using stains/dyes/etc it is no wonder that polished concrete is becoming more and more popular for everyone from designers and engineers to plant managers.
